Clear the old lawn
Dead grass, weeds and debris come off the area that is getting new sod.

Prepare the soil
The soil is loosened, graded and raked smooth so the sod sits flat.

Lay the sod
Rolls go down in staggered rows with tight seams, cut to fit along walks and beds.

Settle it in
The new sod is pressed down so the roots meet the soil, and the work area is cleaned up.

After it goes down
New sod needs regular watering for the first few weeks while it roots in.
How much does sod installation cost?
